For the function f(x) = x + 9, find (f o f^-1)(5) A. 0 B. 4 C. 6 D. 10

@Marv93w

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[f\circ f^{-1}(x)=x\] no matter what \(f\) is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm confused ^ so i dnt understand what you are trying to say the answer is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im getting 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@satellite73

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@wolf1728

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

find (f o f^-1)(5) Is that EXACTLY the way the problem is written?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idek i have no idea how to solve this

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

I have no idea either - that's why I'm hoping that the problem is worded totally different than find (f o f^-1)(5) If nothing else it should say find (f of^-1)(5) "f of" instead of "f o f"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@wolf1728 even with f*f the answer is not there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea idk what that dot means but thats what it says

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Shay - can you copy and paste the precise way that is worded?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Umm okay i'll try

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the function f(x) = x + 9, find (f o f-1)(5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f^-1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im sorry but your teacher need read the assignment before giving it to you

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

yes Marv that wording is totally wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay guys thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem
