I need help with Trigonometric ratios!! I will medal!!! (Please guide me through problems, no answer please :)
What is tan A? http://lv.k12.com/mediaFiles/Ninth_Grade/Math/Unit17844/Lesson69375/VHS_PA_S2_04_L310_LQ_Q1.GIF
Do you know the definition of tangent when it comes to triangles? \[tangent = \frac{opposite}{adjacent}\]
wish i could help but i'm clueless when it comes to this
for an acute angle in a right triangle, the ratio of the length of the opposite side to the length of the adjacent side?
@samsteen15 Its ok :)
For any of the angle of a right triangle, beside the 90 degree angle, tangent can be applied.
So, the tangent of angle A will be the length of the opposite side divided by the length of the adjacent side.
