OpenStudy (anonymous):

for an acute angle in a right triangle, the ratio of the length of the opposite side to the length of the adjacent side?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@samsteen15 Its ok :)

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

For any of the angle of a right triangle, beside the 90 degree angle, tangent can be applied.

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

So, the tangent of angle A will be the length of the opposite side divided by the length of the adjacent side.
