A tetrahedron has three mutually perpendicular faces and three mutually perpendicular edges of lengths 2,3,4 cm; how do I find the volume?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Suppose the three mutually perpendicular edges meet at the origin (0, 0, 0). Then, the coordinates of the other three vertices of the tetrahedron will be (2, 0, 0), (0, 3, 0) and (0, 0, 4). Now you can use the vector method to find the volume. Does that help?
