How do you find the limiting reactant of SiO2 + 3C --> SiC + 2CO

OpenStudy (gebooors):

You need to calculate amount of substances of both reactants. n = m /M Then you compare number of moles. Amount of Carbon n(C) should be three times greater than n(SiO2). Otherwise Carbon is a limiting reactant.
