OpenStudy (amistre64):

it asking for arclengths ...

OpenStudy (amistre64):

what is the circumference of a circle, with a radius of 6 inches?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

what was part 1? it appears that was what part 2 is relating to

OpenStudy (amistre64):

all these can be determined from the portion of circumference of the circle it makes

OpenStudy (amistre64):

C = 2pi r = 12pi, correct?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

12 numbers on the face ... 12pi/12 is equal to 5 minutes

OpenStudy (amistre64):

arc formula is meaningless if you dont know why it works. i perfer the basics of memorization of formulas

OpenStudy (amistre64):

so, from 20 to 55 is 7 parts of 12: the radians moved is therefore 7/12 of 2pi = 7pi/6 for part 1

OpenStudy (amistre64):

sorry, connection issues are horrible at the moment
