which one do u think?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
just remember:sides opposite to equal angles are proportional
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I don't fully understand the answer choices or the question really.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok let me explain

when you have similar triangles then their corresponding angles are equal
and
the ratios of their corresponding sides are also equal
OpenStudy (anonymous):
to work easily with these 2 triangles
you'll need to rotate the second triangle slightly anti-clock wise, i'll draw u a pic

OpenStudy (anonymous):
I didn't draw the angles so as not to clutter the picture, so far do u understand what was done? or u have questions?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
You rotated the angles.

That's correct, I rotated the 2nd triangle so as to make the equal angles correspond to each other
the following angles are equal - this is for ur knowledge only...
A=P , B = Q , C = R
OpenStudy (anonymous):
now the ratios bit, we can do it in ways, either start with the left triangle and then the right one or vice-versa
I'll show u both
1) a/p = c/r = b/q
or the other way around
2) p/a = r/c = q/b
given the above and what you understood so far, can you find the right answer?
