Which gas in the atmosphere made the development of eukaryotic cells possible? A. carbon dioxide B. oxygen C. nitrogen D. methane
B
@shreehari499
Ok..NOO its not oxygen..I think its CO2..:)
it is A ?
Is it 4 a test? @WatchDogs
no
Ok then go 4 CO2...but i do not have any specific reason to give the answer...I think i read it somewhere...@Abhisar ..How do you support your answer?
Initially at the time of origin, primitive atmosphere was reducing and oxygen free (almost). But after the development of prokaryotes like (BGA) it started turning oxidising (oxygen revolution, due to photosynthesis). This made environment suitable for aerobic respiration and hence paved way for the development of eukaryotes
Oh god! Then go 4 oxygen @WatchDogs !! :)
ok
