In circle K, NK=3x+4, KW=5x-8, SA=5x-4, and KN is congruent to KW. What is CN?

@IMStuck

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hint, congruent means KN = KW, can you continue from here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Maybe.. Let me try.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay so KN and KW=22.. How do I find CN?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait nevermind I found it! It's 13!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well done, so x = 6 that's what we found so far, now AS = CR and KN and KW cross CR and AS right in the middle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did u do that? 13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well SA is congruent to CR right? Well KW and KN are both perpendicular bisectors so that means SA and CR are split right down the middle. Just divide CR which is 26 by 2 and you get 13.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well done!

Thanks for the help!
