I am having some trouble with the perfect gas equation PV=nRT: Let's assume that we are in a constant-pressure expansion of a perfect gas, from 0ºC to 100ºC. Then,dW=-pdV, doing the ingegral W=-nRTlnV2/V1 = -nRTlnP2/P1. lnP2/P1 = 0 as is a pressure constnt, so the work should be 0, but this is not true, why?

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

Since p = cst, your integral is wrong. The expression of W you have written is that for an isothermal expansion.

Ok, my mistake. Thank you very much!
