@amistre64 Please help me. I found the answer to the other question but I'm actually stuck on this.
OpenStudy (amistre64):
when does y+4 = 0?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
When 4 is on the y-axis?

since the axises run through the center point .... then the equation has to be when the y part zeros out
OpenStudy (amistre64):
y+4 = 0, what value of y makes this true?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
4
OpenStudy (amistre64):
you might want to review some basic addition .... 4+4 = 0 is not correct
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Ok... then 0.

0 + 4 = 0 is still not correct .....

-4!
OpenStudy (amistre64):
-4! = -24 ... -24+4 = 0 is still not correct :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
No, I meant to write -4. I really don't know what the answer is if -4+4 doesn't equal 0, which it does.
OpenStudy (amistre64):
y = -4 will do just fine :)
