can someone give me a formula for this or something? what is the length of XPY in terms of pi?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (juicstice):

find the whole perimeter of the circle formula: pi(r)^2 I can tell you that one place you need to subtract from the total perimeter is 1/4 of the whole perimeter so just divide the perimeter by 4 then subtract that from the whole perimeter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so would it be 30

OpenStudy (juicstice):

you have to solve it in terms of pi so you don't really have to use a calculator 400(pi)/4=100(pi) 400(pi)-100(pi)=300(pi)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh oops. i was only an extra zero off... hahahah. thank you again tho

OpenStudy (anonymous):

aw i got it wrong it was 30 :(

OpenStudy (juicstice):

I am sincerely sorry. :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its okay haha!! i still got a good grade :-)

OpenStudy (juicstice):

okay, but I'm still sorry
