Understanding fundamentals of calculus (wait for me to type)
I have this problem attached in a screen shot. I worked it a bit differently. I said y(1+h)-y(1)/h and literally plugged in 9(1+h)-1.86(1+h)^2-[9(1)-1.86(1)^2 and simplified to 9-1.86H. When I plugged in 1, I got the 7.14. 2 brings the 5.28. 3 gave me the first answer. What did we do different?
@devan123
this is not hard, whats the problem
Well, for the first answer, wanting [1,2] I had to plug in 3 to get the right answer. How did I work it differently than the help sheet I attatched?
i don't know calculus
@perl
bear with me
so what do you want to do again?
I typed above the way I worked it. The way they worked it is attatched to this page. My question is what exactly did we do different, because for the first answer, wanting [1,2] I had to plug in 3 to get the right answer.
@Hero @perl
