do you still need help?

OpenStudy (koikkara):

WelcomE to OpeN StudY !! SweeT FrienD !! @Curlyish Hmm, how to say well consider this example : Let X* be the chromosome with gene of colour blindness and X be the normal chromosome. Now, Man's genotype:- X* Y Woman's Genotype:- XX* Punnet Square:- ______X*______Y_______ X____XX*______XY______ X*___X*X*_____X*Y______ So, 50% women will be carrier (XX*) while another 50% will be colour blind (X*X*) and 50% man will be colour blind (X*Y) while 50% will be normal (XY). what i dont understand is color blindness is more common in men so why would 50% have it wouldn't be like 25% women are carriers and 25% women will have the color blindness 25% males will have it and 25% will be normal
