What's the difference between imperfect tense and future tense (french)?
L'imparfait is usually conjugated with -ais -ait -iez -ions. -ient while the Futur (simple i guess) is usually conjugated with the verb avoir as a suffix -ai, -as, -a, -ons, -ez, -ont to be precise. Obviously, futur simple is used to talk about something that's going to happen and l'imparfait is used to refer to a past event whose beginning and ending point is not stated Ex: Futur Simple: Je mangerai du poisson. L'imparfait: Je mangerais du poisson. Hope that helps
VagrantValmar's explanation is fine. Here I am just correcting a slight typo: Imperfect endings are: -ais-ais-ait-ions-iez-aient Imperfect is : "Je mangeais du poisson" ("Je mangerais du poisson" is present conditional.)
Totally right, sorry about that
