Please do not use technology until you have grasp the basics. What is 27? It is \[27=3^{3}\] Therefore 27=\[(3^{3})^{\frac{ 2 }{ 3 }}\] \[(a^{m})^{n}=a ^{mn}\] so\[27=3^{3\times \frac{ 2 }{ 3 }}\] \[=3^{2}=9\]

Sorry there is an error in lines 4 and 8. 27 should read as 27^(2/3)

OpenStudy (harsha19111999):

Do 27*27/3

OpenStudy (harsha19111999):

you will get 729/3 = 243

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes that is correct. Do the division first so that you do not need to multiply such big number. 27X27/3=27X9=243

OpenStudy (harsha19111999):

Yeah thats right too
