OpenStudy (anonymous):

The presence of which organelle indicates that eukaryotic cells have evolved from prokaryotic cells?

OpenStudy (somy):

hmm i guess that would be 70s ribosome and DNA ring if im not mistaken

OpenStudy (somy):

@Abhisar am i correct or not?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

aammm.. I'll say membrane bound nucleus

OpenStudy (abhisar):

In Eukaryotes there is 80s ribo, in prokaryotes it is 70s

OpenStudy (somy):

yes i know

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Prokaryotes have a primitive nucleus better called as Nucleoid, this developed further to nucleus in eukaryotes

OpenStudy (somy):

well i was actually thinking about mitochondria, though if we consider it alone it's be prokaryote but its a part of eukaryotic cells now

OpenStudy (somy):

i think i got the question wrong u_u''

OpenStudy (abhisar):

That will be the perfect answer @Somy !

OpenStudy (somy):

owh so i got it right?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

yep u got it \(\color{green}{\huge\ddot\smile}\)

OpenStudy (somy):
