2. Compare inductive and deductive reasoning. How are they the same? How are they different?

Inductive reasoning and deductive reasoning are both higher order cognitive (thinking) functions. Deductive reasoning requires you to analyze general statements to come to a specific conclusion. Inductive reasoning is the opposite; you use specific facts to try and make generalizations about something else.

they both have conclusions but inductive reasoning always considers the possibility of it being false

inductive reasoning believes in only what it has seen if a fish says that all the animals he has seen are in water,his inductive reasoning would be all animals live in water which is ofcrs wrong that the flaw
