Ok, so the first thing you want to do is separate x from the rest of the numbers. I see that x is a denominator here in this problem, so how would you get rid of the denominator? You multiply both sides by x! That will cancel out the x on the left side, and multiply the 12 by x on the right side. Is this clear so far?
