Functional Programming example Here is an example of how functional programming works: http://jsfiddle.net/zHhJM/ 1) Typically there are no assignment statements. 2) You can only use empty, head, tail and push operations to manipulate lists. Every other list operation has to be implemented using these functions. As a result, lists are for the most part immutable. Typically push is implemented by having a linked list tree. 3) All loops are handled through recursion.
