OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the molarity of a 5.00 x 102 ml solution containing 249 g of KI

Parth (parthkohli):

I think they mean \(5 \times 10^2\) ml of solution. In that case, we have \(0.5\) litres of solution.

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

wow i totally read that wrong

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

1.5moles of KI/.5L of solution

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

3

OpenStudy (somy):

first find mole of KI, using the mass given for it, and u already know the molecular mass from periodic table mole=mass/Molecular mass get the mole change the unit of volume from ml to L use formula of molarity molarity= mole/volume put values into the formula and get your answer
