well glycolysis makes 4 atp in total, but it uses 2 in the process of doing glycolysis. Therefore, the total ATP is only 2 ATP

10 ATP are produced during glycolysis but 2 ATP are used up in it's preparatory phase, so net yeild is of 8 ATP for one glucose molecule.

ok I read it and I don't know where u get 10 ATP total from glycolysis? Even in the notes it says 2 net atp
Read it carefully ! Glycolysis produces 4 ATP (Substrate level Production) + 2 NADH + H+. These 2NADH + H+ gives 2X3 = 6ATP at the end of respiration via ETS

yes, but i thought the question was asking strictly from glycolysis stand point because if we say it is anaerobic respiration, it cant go through the ETC
