Pretty Sure its C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A polynomial function can be written as (x + 1)(x + 4)(x - 7). What are the x-intercepts of the graph of this function? (1, 0), (4, 0), (7, 0) (-1, 0), (-4, 0), (-7, 0) (1, 0), (4, 0), (-7, 0) (-1, 0), (-4, 0), (7, 0)

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Why?

OpenStudy (muzzack):

well its for sure D why because i subtituted each x and i equaled the 0 into y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because its x+4 and there is a positive 4 in one of the brackets, they all have zero probably because you need to multiply x by zero etc and then there is x-7 so tht goes kinda with c but I just took some logic but I guess I was wrong XD

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Did you ask the question @Muzzack ? But yes, that is correct :)

OpenStudy (muzzack):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol Thank you Guys so its D?

OpenStudy (muzzack):

yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thx Again ;)

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Yes y = (x + 1)(x + 4)(x - 7) and 0*(any number)=0.
