Lotions applied during winter season moisturize the skin very quickly. What could be the reason for this? A) the oils in the lotion enter the skin cells by means of phagocytosis . B) the oils in the lotion enter the skin cells with the help of carrier proteins . C) the oiols in the lotion enter the skin by means of facilitated diffusion . D) the oils in the lotion enter the skin cells by means of simple diffusion . @-BeYourself20-
I think a
So, tell me. What makes you think it is A?
i have no clue .
i dont know science .
Lol ok that's fine. It's C.
Agreed with @SummerNS
@thecoolkidoneone Phagocytosis is when a cell envelopes something, brings that something into the cytology of the cell, and (typically) digests it.
it is not C
Well, actually they work by creating a barrier so that no moisture is lost, not by entering skin cells. I think they want the answer about passive diffusion. The question is crap though.
