@watercolour_ help stuck again!

@LifeEngineer help ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright, so when you have a power raised to a power, to simplify you can simply multiply the two powers together. ex: (x^2)^6 =x^(2*6)=x^12 similarly, (x^2)^-1 = x^(-1*2)=x^-2 (which is the same thing as if you'd just inverted x^2) the trick with this question is the parentheses. what would those mean if you want to simplify the -3 power?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Umm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't really understand @LifeEngineer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Whitemonsterbunny17

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@JAMIE<3you @joquez14

@LifeEngineer its asking what he did wrong though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@joquez14 i tagged you to see if you can figure it out & help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right, and he did not carry out the -3 exponent on the coefficient of 4. he only applied it to z^8 when he should have applied it to both!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lifeengineer is handeling this and i dont know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THANKS !! @LifeEngineer
