Find the volume of a cylinder with a height of 4 meters and a diameter that is 3 times the measure of the height. Use 3.14 for pi, and round your answer to the nearest hundredth. 113.04 m3 452.16 m3 678.24 m3 828.20 m3

Volume = Pi r^2 h you're given both. Plug and chug. p.s. radius = diameter/2

I got 301.44 as my answer but its not an option ...? @xxferrocixx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it said the diameter is 3 times the height . So the diameter = 3*4 = 12, which means the radius is 6.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhhh, now i see what i did, the answer would be 452.16 correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah
