Describe how a limiting reagent affects the products in a chemical reaction. I have no idea what they are even talking about.
amount of product depends on limiting reagent
meaning for example 2H2 + O2 ---> 2H2O that means for 2 H2 atoms you need 1 O2 atom to make 2 H2O so even if you increase amount of H2 atoms in the reaction and leave O2 the same amount, your product will ALWAYS stay 2H2O meaning in same amount as here in the reaction why? well because to get H2O you need O2 also, if u do not increase amount of O2 and just increase amount of H2 its not gonna work right? thats why we can say that O2 is 'limiting' meaning amount of H2O produced DEPENDS on amount of O2 used that's just example to get the idea
so its not right lol don't misunderstand xD
