Have you made up a list of the formulas you're going to need as you study straight lines and their equations? The formula for the slope, relevant to this question, is \[m=\frac{ y _{2}-y _{1} }{x _{2}-x _{1} }\] Please actually calculate the slope for yourself using this formula.

I'm providing you with guidance as best I know how. Your results unfortunately continue to be incorrect. Notice that the y-component of each of the two given points is the same. What does that tell you?

you are correct on the first question i asked.... i have moved on and am re entering the second question i calculated the first one to be 0/36 i cannot go back the second question i asked is What is the slope of the line that contains the points (-12, -15) and (-6, -23)
