2x^3e^−3x − 5x^4e^−3x = 0 Ah help! I gotta solve for x, and there should be two answers for it right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hint \[e^{-3x}\] is never zero so completely ignore that part

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i.e. solve \[2x^3-5x^4=0\] which cannot be too hard

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh that makes sense! so i would turn it into x^3(2-5x)=0 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then i would get 2=5x, which is 5/2, and then 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are awesome! thanks so much!
