Farmers work the land of Italy. 7. Fama, fortuna, et pecunia nautam vocant. Fame, Fortune, and money call sailors. 8. Nauta puellae pecuniam dat. The sailor gives the money to the girl. 9. Poeta reginae fabulas nuntiabit. The poet reports the story to the queen. 10. Agricola et femina poetae villam reginae monstrabant. The farmer and woman poets show the farmhouse to the queen. 1. I give would be "do" ; "dabo" is future, this is why your teacher said "check tense". Poetae is dative singular, not plural. Lots of verbs are in the imperfect, but your translation is in the present tense.
