May you check my answer, I got A :DD @jim_thompson5910

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What was your answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh A I see.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A Chord must touch two points on a circle. That's all I can say =0)

Gosh, just walk through the choices! Use elimination and cancel out the choices that cannot be true! Student 3 says "If a line segment does not join two points on a circle, then the line segment is a chord". Can this be right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I already did and got A!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well it says it does not join two points and we know a chord does, so let's rule student 3 out. Well your right, but why do you doubt?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because sometimes you think your right and then the math experts tell you otherwise..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But in this case, it was impossible for B, C, and D to be true. Leaving A. Rules of logic must be used here to say... hmmm, yea it's gotta be A! >_<

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You got it though, good job =0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that 2nd to last comment ^LOL, I can't even.. haha..

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

student 2 is smart
