WHAT THE anwer of 8x,56x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\huge \color{blue}{\textsf{Welcome To Openstudy...}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your question is not proper... Do you want to find LCM there??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no may question is greatest common monomial factor pleas help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, you want to find GCF there, then.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now, see, out of 8 and 56, what is that maximum number that divides both 8 and 56??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean, out of 1, 2, 4, 8, these are the factors which divide both 8 and 56 simultaneously.. Out of these, which is the greatest factor??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4*4 = 16 ?? 16 will not divide 56 and it will also not divide 8.. 4?? 4 will divide both 8 and 56, but 4 is not greatest there.. Look carefully..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does factor 8 divide 8 and 56 at the same time??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pleas share your answer to my quastion because tommorow his chex of work of may teacher

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just answer honestly what I am asking you will get it..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you think number 8 will divide 8 and 56 at the same time?? \[\frac{8}{8} = ??\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It means yes 8 will divide 8.. Now tell me this 8 will divide 56 or not??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, It means 8 will divide 56 also.. So, why are you saying 4 there? I agree 4 will also divide 8 and 56 but 8 is also a factor which is dividing 8 and 56.. So, out of 4 and 8, 8 is the greatest factor that is dividing 8x and 56x.. Now, tell me for x, what will be the greatest factor that will divide x and factors are 1, x.. Now, you decide out of 1 and x, which is greater that will divide x there??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1x2 iskuwerd

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I simplify it, if you have both x and x in the two terms, then simply x is the greatest factor which will divide x.. Or you can assume it also,.. Assume x to be 4 as x is any number there.. So, for 4,4 what is the greatest factor that will divide 4 there??? Simply, as factors of 4 are 1, 2 and 4, so here 4 is the greatest factor.. So, as you assume x = 4, also 4 is the greatest factor.. So, for x, x will be the greatest factor.. So, finally, you have 8 (from 8, 56) and x (from x,x) are the greater factor.. So, simply 8x is the Greatest Common Factor you can take out of both 8x and 56x..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Getting what I am trying to say??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what anwer day to say that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have written answer there and you have still problem finding the answer..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what answer this may question duyo mine

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now, I have trouble understanding what are you saying!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

explain it differnt way

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Should I explain it in different way?? @grace_otte

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what are you talking about @waterineyes
