This question is for everybody. In meiosis, the cells produced are called "daughter cells". Why are they considered "daughter"?
They r consider as daughter cells because meiosis is a reduction division in which haploid cells are form that is 'n' cells r form which is half of parent nucleus that is diploid cells and is '2 n'
That is of diploid cells which is '2 n'

daughter is ither two identical cells. Daughter cells are genetically identical to the parent cell because they contain the same number and type of chromosomes.Either of the two cells formed when a cell undergoes cell division by mitosis.
Yes it's true they are identical cells but contain half no of chromosomes that is 'n' compared to their parent nucleus which is '2n'
Parent nucleus contain 2n chromosomes
