The goal of “separation of powers” is to ensure people are born with power that cannot be taken away by government governments have power because the citizens consent government that abuses its powers should not be obeyed one person or part of government does not have too much power

What do you think Separation of Power means @Keeelsss11 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it's D. The point of separation of powers is that each part of the government has things that they are responsible and they can't interfere with other groups powers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Basically the reason we have separation of powers is so that one branch of government can't take over . If the Executive branch had all the power, it could become a totalitarian state quickly. If the Legislative branch gets all the power, it becomes what we were trying to avoid in the first place in 1776. If the Judicial branch gets all the power, it basically becomes something like a dictatorship.
