-3 + m over 9 = 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ -3 + m }{ 9 } = 10\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first multipli 10 to the both sides.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sry multipli

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

wouldn't you multiply both sides by 9 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sry again :D ,multipli 9 to the both sides :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i'm very tired :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok @hihihi0001 , do it :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3x+m=90

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are you solving for? X or M

OpenStudy (anonymous):

m

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we don't have x!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Jennifer_Thomas , it's -3 + m

OpenStudy (anonymous):

opps sorry.... Ok so you add 3 to both sides and your answer will be M= 93

OpenStudy (anonymous):

got it? @hihihi0001 , we add 3 as we want -3 to be crossed out! because -3 + 3 = 0 and 0 + m = m
