If the lines are parallel to each, they will have the same slope. Just use the slope formula to find the slope for each pair of points, and if you end up with the same slope for each, you've shown that they're parallel!

@matt101 , okay, thank you! But I'm also kind of confused on where each point is.

You need to use the x and y coordinates for A and B to find the slope of AB. Then do the same for D and E.
