The sentence that I typed is asking which sentence does not use parallel structure correctly? 1. If I were a musician, I'd want either to play keyboard like Stevie Wonder or to play guitar like Leo Kottke 2. If I were a musician, either I'd want to play keyboard like Stevie Wonder or I'd want to play guitar like Leo Kottke. 3. If I were a musician, I'd want to play either keyboard like Stevie Wonder or guitar like Leo Kottke. 4. If I were a musician, I'd want to either play keyboard like Stevie Wonder or guitar like Leo Kottke.

It's 4; The first part of the parallel structure is: I'd want to... (either play keyboard like Stevie Wonder) The second part of the structure is: (or guitar like Leo Kottke). If you take out the first part of the parallel structure, you can see that the second won't make sense: "If I were a musician, I'd want to guitar like Leo Kottke." So the wrong answer is #4.
