OpenStudy (superhelp101):

Which of the following best describes plasma? a group of super cooled particles with very low kinetic energy an ionized group of particles with low kinetic energy a gas that becomes a solid without first becoming a liquid an electrically charged gas with very high kinetic energy I am going to have to go which D. I know that kinetic energy is often associated with the flow velocity of the gas. @Abhisar

OpenStudy (somy):

it is D you are right

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Plasma is an ionized gas consisting of positive ions and free electrons in proportions resulting in more or less no overall electric charge, typically at low pressures (as in the upper atmosphere and in fluorescent lamps) or at very high temperatures (as in stars and nuclear fusion reactors).

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

Cool thank y'all very much!

OpenStudy (abhisar):

I said "resulting in more or less no overall electric charge" but the option says "an electrically charged gas", no body doubted it !

OpenStudy (abhisar):

@Somy

OpenStudy (abhisar):

@superhelp101

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

haha

OpenStudy (abhisar):

btw the answer still goes D, basically plasma state is when gases are ionised they get charged (and start conducting electricity like metals) but the overall charge is approximately zero(same number of +ve and-ve charge)

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

alright yeah thanks again
