How do draw an obtuse isosceles trialngle

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

isosceles means you have 2 sides congruent

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

obtuse means you have 1 angle that's obtuse (larger than 90 degrees) the other two angles are acute (smaller than 90 degrees)

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

http://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/triangles-interactive.html <--- click on Isosceles, and stretch one of the angles enough to make it obtuse

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Quadratic I mean

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

You either graph a bunch of points (enough to get an accurate view of the graph) and then draw a curve through them or use a graphing calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But how do I get to know how to find the points

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because I am confused in vertex and the axis and the pints of x and fx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hello?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need to know how to do it

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

well.. an isosceles triangle is just a triangle with 2 equal sides as jim_thompson5910 pointed out and "obtuse isosceles" triangle is one with 1 obtuse angle and 2 sides that are equal so..... that's all you'd need to draw it I'd think
