OpenStudy (anonymous):

@aum

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is 32

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

u dont call me :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

U have to use to cosine ratio

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure, anytime ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know the second one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think they can be determined. I might be wrong though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Here_to_Help15 do you know the second one?

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

umm not rally :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

U have to use the law of cosine again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b squared + c squared - a squared/ 2 times the adjacent side. That will be the equation you use

OpenStudy (anonymous):

err im a still confused

OpenStudy (aum):

The link says it cannot be displayed because it contains errors. I can't see the question.

OpenStudy (aum):

same problem. can't see the question.

OpenStudy (aum):

Error message: "The image cannot be displayed because it contains errors"

OpenStudy (aum):

Still won't work. Same error message. Are these links working for you. I clicked on a couple of links that others have posted and it works fine.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when i click it it works, and it worked for them^ hm. let me see if i can draw it /:

OpenStudy (aum):

I am using Firefox browser. Maybe it is not working for this browser.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the 7sqrt means \[7\sqrt{3}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the other is \[14\sqrt{3}\]

OpenStudy (aum):

Take sine of the angle B. What do you get? sin(B) = opposite / hypotenuse = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm... would it be answer b?

OpenStudy (aum):

First find sin(B). sin(B) = opposite / hypotenuse = 7sqrt(3) / 14sqrt(3) = 7/14 = 1/2 From unit circle we know that sin(30) = 1/2. Therefore, angle B = 30 degrees. We kn ow angle A = 90 degrees. Since three angles of a triangle add to 180 degrees, angle C = 180 - angle A - angle B = 180 - 90 - 30 = 60 degrees. 30-60-90 degrees.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh okay. that makes sense. if i open another question can you help again?
