CAN POAC principle be used for any reaction

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

POAC ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

principle of atomic conservation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think so , if in the reactant there are two compounds in which the same element occurs twice , we can't use then probably

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

yest it should be applied to any reaction other than nuclear reactions

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

can u tel what is the principle of atomic conservation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes , it is just that in a reaction atoms of a element are conserved meaning that , atoms in the product = atoms in the reactant

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

yaaa it should hold good for all reactions except nuclear ones

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

in case of nuclear reaction conservation of energy over takes the atomic conservation :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooh
