What is y when x=-2? Use your graph.

Earth to @andy11 do you know how to read a graph?

OpenStudy (radar):

Looks like this is gonna be a monolog. Take the difference between the two values of y at x=0 and x-2. This would be a subtraction. Then divide the value you get from that subtraction by the difference (another subtraction of the two x values. Good luck my friend.

OpenStudy (phi):

in case you don't know, rate of change = change in y divided by change in x the change in x for x = 0 to x = −2 is last x - first x, or in this case -2 - 0 = -2 so we know \[ \text{rate of change } = \frac{\text{change in y }}{ -2} \] now you need to find the y value when x is 0 and the y value when x is -2 can you do that ?
