SOMEONE PLEASE HELP Sandra stepped off the curb, turned her head to the left, and saw a bus approaching very quickly. She shrieked and jumped back on to the curb, narrowly missing getting hit by the bus. Several regions of her brain were involved with successfully getting her back onto the curb before the bus could hit her. Which region of her brain was responsible for starting the process? Her occipital lobes in the front of her brain started it by recognizing the sound of the bus. Her cerebellum at the base of her brain started it by raising her heart rate, so she could move quickly.

Her occipital lobes in the front of her brain started it by recognizing the sound of the bus. Her cerebellum at the base of her brain started it by raising her heart rate, so she could move quickly. Her cerebellum in the center of her brain started it by coordinating her muscle movements. Her occipital lobes in the back of her brain started it by interpreting the visual image of the bus.
