Which law most directly led to the General Motors sit-down strike in 1936? Social Security Act Glass-Steagall Act Fair Labor Standards Act Wagner Act

OpenStudy (conqueror):

Any ideas?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have no idea honestly . I dont think its the wagner act because the wagner act helped push towards labor unions and not the sit down strike.

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

The GM sit down strike lasted for 36-37, a total of 44 days. The sit down was created in hopes to stop sending work to non-union plants and to establish a fair minimum wage scale, a grievance system and a set of procedures that would help protect assembly-line workers from injury. The only logical answer is choice C) the fair labor acts of 1935.

CORRECTION!!! the correct answer is D Wagner Act
