how do i use the distributive law to factor 4r+18s?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first you factor out the 2 in both terms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which should give you 2(2r+9s)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does 4r+18s need to be fatorized into a distributive law? if it does, find a number that goes into both 4 and 18, the put that number outside the bracket and dived all the numbers by that number, place those numbers and letter in the bracket. which should give you 2(2r+9s)
