(y−nt)(2y+4nt)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this question is just straight forward. what u do is multiply each term in one pair of parentheses to the other two terms in the other parentheses or each term. So for example it would be y*2y,y*4nt, -nt*2y and -nt*4nt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what would be the answer @Oceans

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2y squared + 4nty - 2ynt-4nt squared

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2y^2+2ynt-4n^2t^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where do u get the 2 for the second term

OpenStudy (anonymous):

combine like terms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh wow lel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea i forgot that you have to put squared for bot n and t or parentheses. my bad

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(u−4xs)(2u−xs)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok this time i wont mess up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2u squared - xsu - 8xsu + 4x^2s^2 or if u combine like terms 2u^2 - 9xsu + 4x^2s^2
