OpenStudy (anonymous):
because I know im doing something particulary wrong, but I dont see it
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
\[\frac{2}{3}=\frac{10}{15}~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\frac{3}{5}=\frac{9}{15}\]

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
the fractions were given in your question, so I don't really understand what you are trying to ask by how did you get to 2/3 and 3/5.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
all you needed to do was find the common factor and set it as the denominator
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes but how did you got to 10/15 and 9/15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
multiply denominator with the whole number and add the numerator
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
I multiplied top and bottom of the first fraction times 5, and top and bottom of second fraction times 3
