In physics when a topic is stated along with the word theory( Ex. "String theory" ) does it mean that strings are not a reality because it is referred to as a String Theory?

I don't really understand your question to be honest but I'm guessing that you're asking about String Theory. If so, the below website offers a great explanation: http://www.superstringtheory.com/basics/basic4.html

If I understand ur question: when for example we call a theory "string theory", the word "string" has nothing to do with the ordinary string that we know in our daily life! it's a model so-called string and created by physicists and used to "describe" their theory! an other example: "quantum theory" where "quanta" is a model ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"Theory: a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained." vs hypothesis: a supposition or proposed explanation made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation." String theory is currently only a theory because it cant be proven..but it cant be disproven either, so a theory it remains.
