it's ok
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I'm just confused on how 2x can be equal to x lol i'm probably just missing something
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Is the question to find x?
Nnesha (nnesha):
x/2x = 6-x/ x then cross multiplication for x
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I got x=4

yeah i also got that :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Alright cool guess that might be right then.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Good luck
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I don't see how that could be right though
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Because if x=4 how could 2x+x=6?

if i substitute 4 into the x in the proportional x/2x= 2-6/x so i get 1/2 on both side so its mean both side have same scale that's mean its similar
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Oh ok that makes sense to me then.
