OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

Did I get this right? Let f(x) = 3x + 2 and g(x) =7x + 6. Find f ·g and its domain. A. 21x^2 + 32x + 12; all real numbers B. 21x^2 +32x + 12; all real numbers except x = -6/7 C. 6x^2 + 4x + 42; all real numbers except x = -2/3 D. 6x^2 + 4x + 42; all real numbers My answer is A.

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

correct

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

Hahaha!!:D Ok. I was debating between A and B. Thanx:D

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

nope, you just need to note that the domain of 31x^2+32x+12 is all real numbers because there is no number that we cant plug

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

domain problems arise when you have a chance to either divide by 0, take square root of negative number, or take log of a negative number.

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

Makes more sense even after you explained it:D

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

Thanx again:D

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

fo she z

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

What is that supposed to mean? Lol.

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

for sure

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

Oh...Ok. Looked like somethin else I couldn't read:DxD!!!:D Lol.
