OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

Can you post the figure?

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

We can brake it into 3 sections for you to add up. That's what I used to do, I'll draw it out then give you the equations, alright?

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

1) \[2\times2\] 2) \[3\times5\] 3) \[2\times1\] This is how I used to do these kinds of shapes when I was in school. You do length times width to find areas of certain shapes. But you can break ones like these into groups then do it that way. Ya understand?

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

So for each of those 3 groups, you get those areas. Once you have all three, add them up.

17? @beccaboo333

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

There's also another way you could have gone about with this. |dw:1406308790173:dw|
